At Alta Fitness, we are seeking a motivated and professional Personal Trainer or Exercise Scientist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based coaching.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine passion for helping others improve their health, strength, movement, and overall quality of life.

This role involves working closely with clients of all ages, with a primary focus on adults aged 50+, supporting them to stay active, build strength, improve function, and reduce the risk of chronic conditions and age-related injuries through personalised exercise programming.

Alta Fitness is a boutique studio that values professionalism, personalised care, education, and long-term client outcomes over generic fitness approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver individualised, evidence-based exercise programs tailored to clients’ goals, abilities, and health needs
Supervise clients during personal training and personalised group training sessions
Ensure safe exercise technique, appropriate exercise progressions, and a high standard of client care
Support clients in achieving long-term health, strength, mobility, fitness, and injury prevention outcomes
Maintain accurate client records, session notes, and program updates
Work collaboratively within a professional, team-oriented studio environment, including contributing to social media content and client communications/newsletters
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional studio environment, including equipment sanitation, studio presentation, opening and closing procedures, payment processing, and general day-to-day operational duties
