The Role:
Millennium has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at one of our retail shopping centres!
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, have great attention to detail, and take pride in creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers.
We have a full‑time position available with the following roster:
Monday to Friday - 09:00–17:36.
This position will be based on award wages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all plates, utensils, and kitchen tools using both dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Ensure the safe and hygienic disposal of spillages and waste materials.
- Sort and dispose of waste responsibly in line with recycling protocols.
- Monitor cleaning supply levels and report inventory needs as required.
About You:
- Demonstrated cleaning experience in a commercial environment (preferred but not essential).
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Good understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including public holidays, when required.
- Experience with floor‑care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is an advantage.
