Assistant Studio Manager

MGF Health Hub | Peakhurst, NSW | Full-Time

We’re looking for an Assistant Studio Manager who wants to do more than simply coach classes.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves coaching, genuinely cares about people and wants to play an important part in the day-to-day operation and growth of a fitness business.

You’ll spend approximately 20 hours per week coaching on the floor, while also helping manage the studio, supporting our team, creating content and ensuring every member feels connected to the MGF community.

For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into our Head Studio Manager role within the first 12 months.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of:

Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the studio
Supporting the management, development and accountability of our coaching team
Owning and managing the team roster
Delivering approximately 20 hours of high-level coaching each week
Nurturing and onboarding new members into the MGF community
Helping members feel seen, supported and connected from day one
Creating social media content that captures what happens inside MGF
Posting daily stories and assisting with our ongoing social media presence
Supporting the overall member experience and culture of the studio
Identifying problems, taking initiative and helping create solutions

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

Is an excellent coach and confident leading group training sessions
Is genuinely passionate about the hybrid Strength & Conditioning environment
Practises what they preach and genuinely enjoys training
Will train regularly at MGF around their working hours and become part of the community, not simply arrive for a shift and leave
Genuinely cares about people and the experience they receive
Is organised, dependable and comfortable taking ownership
Can communicate clearly and confidently with members and staff
Has an eye for content and is comfortable being involved in social media
Understands that great service happens in the small details
Brings energy, initiative and consistency to the team
Wants responsibility and the opportunity to grow as a leader
Is willing to jump in and help wherever required

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to care, take feedback well and have the drive to keep improving.

You’ll work closely with the owner, learn how the business operates and gradually take greater ownership of the team, member experience and overall studio.
