JobFindr – Terms of Service

Effective Date: 1 October 2025


These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the JobFindr website and services (“Platform”). By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.


1. Platform Access and Accounts

Certain features of JobFindr require the creation of a user account. When registering, you must provide accurate and current information and ensure your login details remain confidential. You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account, whether authorised by you or not.

JobFindr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the Platform.


2. Employer Use of JobFindr

For the purposes of these Terms, “Employers” include any individual or entity using JobFindr to advertise roles, source candidates, or communicate with job seekers.

2.1 Job Advertisements

When submitting a job advertisement on JobFindr, Employers confirm that:

  • The role is genuine and lawfully available within Australia.
  • The business advertising the role holds a valid Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • All information provided is accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • The advertisement complies with all applicable Australian employment, workplace, and anti-discrimination laws.
  • Remote or hybrid arrangements are clearly disclosed where applicable.

JobFindr may review, edit, decline, or remove job advertisements at its discretion where listings fail to meet platform standards or legal requirements.


2.2 Employer Responsibilities

Employers must not:

  • Publish deceptive, duplicate, or non-genuine job advertisements.
  • Use the Platform to harvest personal data or contact job seekers for unrelated purposes.
  • Promote unlawful activities, schemes, or roles that misrepresent remuneration or conditions.
  • Engage in conduct that may damage the integrity or reputation of the Platform.

2.3 Fees, Plans, and Billing

JobFindr offers both single-use and recurring recruitment services.

One-Time Listings

Employers may purchase individual job listings for a fixed display period. These purchases are non-recurring and expire automatically at the end of the selected term.

Subscription Services

Subscription plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the next billing date. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not entitle the Employer to a refund for the current billing period.

General Payment Conditions

  • All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

3. Job Seeker Use of JobFindr

JobFindr provides tools for individuals to discover and apply for employment opportunities. JobFindr does not act as an employer, recruiter, or hiring agent.

3.1 Applications and Information

Job seekers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted through the Platform is truthful and accurate. JobFindr does not verify job listings or guarantee outcomes, employment offers, or employer conduct.


3.2 Acceptable Use by Job Seekers

Job seekers must not:

  • Submit false or misleading application materials.
  • Harass or abuse employers or other users.
  • Use the Platform for spam, automation, or non-genuine activity.

4. Content Submitted to JobFindr

Users may upload or submit content such as job advertisements, resumes, branding assets, or messages (“User Content”).

Ownership of User Content remains with the user. By submitting content, you grant JobFindr a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and adapt that content as required to operate and promote the Platform.


5. Restricted Conduct

Users must not:

  • Use JobFindr for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts.
  • Interfere with platform security, availability, or performance.
  • Deploy automated tools, scraping software, or data-harvesting technologies.
  • Infringe the rights of JobFindr or third parties.

6. Privacy and Data Handling

JobFindr collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the handling of your information as described in that policy.


7. Platform Availability and Changes

JobFindr may update, modify, or discontinue features or services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for outages, changes, or feature removals.


8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify JobFindr, including its directors, employees, and service providers, against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform, submitted content, or breach of these Terms.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, JobFindr excludes liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.


11. Updates to These Terms

JobFindr may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the Platform and apply from the stated effective date.
