Our villages are more than just a place to stay — they’re a home away from home. Our retail service plays a key role in creating a welcoming, vibrant community for residents on site.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and process driven Retail Attendant to join our team.
The Role:
As a Retail Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while contributing to the commercial success of our on-site retail operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing a friendly, engaging customer experience in our village retail stores
- Operating point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
- Supporting ordering, stock control, stocktakes and inventory management
- Monitoring product performance and contributing to strategies that improve sales and profitability
- Identifying and maximising upselling opportunities
- Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages
- Maintaining store presentation and cleanliness to a high standard
About You:
You are a proactive and customer-focused retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You understand that great service and smart retail practices go hand in hand.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in FMCG retail or hospitality
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly approach
- Financial awareness and the ability to support commercial performance
- Experience conducting or assisting with stocktakes
- Interest in developing and delivering social engagement initiatives
- Barista experience (desirable or willingness to up-skill)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- FIFO experience is highly regarded but not essential.
What You’ll Need:
- WA residency (we can only consider candidates currently living in Western Australia)
- National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts in remote conditions
- Australian working rights (unrestricted)
- WA driver’s licence preferred
