Role Description
We are currently looking for enthusiastic Christmas Tree Decorators to assist in the setup of our clients installations throughout Melbourne, VIC. The Christmas Tree Decorator will be responsible for assisting with preparing client orders in our warehouse in Croydon South (Eastern suburbs), as well as setting up a range of Christmas tree displays throughout businesses across Melbourne.
Tasks include preparing client orders, setting up and installing Christmas trees and decorations, ensuring each display meets aesthetic standards and dismantling decorations at the end of the rental period. The role requires a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This is a casual role and you must be available for work from November through to mid-December, and then from 2nd January for our pack down period. Hours of work vary between 8am and 6pm, with occasional after hours requirements.
Qualifications
Experience in decoration, holiday decorating, and visual merchandising is preferred but not essential
A good eye for detail
Physical stamina to handle the setup and takedown of seasonal decorations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work during peak holiday periods, including some evenings/after hours/ weekend work
Have own vehicle/transport to be able to move between multiple client sites throughout Melbourne
