A maintenance person is required for a busy roadhouse on the Nullarbor on a casual basis with the possibility of a more permanent position for the right person.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills, experiences and qualities:
The ability to work individually or as a part of a team.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Be mechanically minded.
Physically capable to maintain grounds and landscaping across the whole property.
Diverse skillset and knowledge across different areas including basic plumbing, generator servicing, swapping over gas bottles, painting, basic power maintenance, pressure washing forecourts and other general handyman tasks.
A forklift license is preferred but not essential.
The rate of pay is 38.34 per hour and there is on average 35 hours over 5 days.
Meals and accommodation are provided free of charge.
