The Role
Based across Health facilities including Kingaroy, Warwick and Dalby, this role delivers a dynamic mix of surgical care, collaboration and community impact.
Key responsibilities include:
* Elective and emergency care within the Acute Surgical Unit
* Participation in endoscopy and operative lists
* Inpatient and outpatient surgical services
* Multidisciplinary collaboration focused on professionalism and patient-centred care
* Supervision and mentorship of Junior Doctors and Surgical Trainees
* Contribution to clinical governance and departmental leadership
An important component of this position is participation in the Rural Outreach service, travelling to Kingaroy, Warwick and Dalby to:
* Deliver essential general surgical services
* Support local clinicians through education and supervision
* Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives

You will receive a competitive total remuneration package ranging from **$381,337 (L18) to $476,304 (L27)**, including:
* Salary rates from **$103.79 (L18) to $131.60 (L27) per hour**

In addition, superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) are applied on top of the total remuneration value.
