Global business with local branches across multiple states in Australia. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week.
Your new role
- Accounts payable invoice data entry and cost code entering
- Updating credit card details
- Payment runs (fortnightly and monthly)
- GST / FBT payment and FBT accruals
- Creditor ageing and reconciliation
- Month-end closing
- Month-end and year-end reconciliations
- Cash management report
- Providing invoice copy and remittance payments for audit
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable Officer role
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes
- High level accuracy with the input of accounts payable invoices
- Timely and efficient reconciliation skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and MS Excel (intermediate)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
