Lake Central Cairns hotel is looking for a reliable, friendly all-rounder to join our team. This combined role covers front desk reception and room servicing — perfect for someone who likes variety, enjoys meeting people, and takes pride in a well-presented property. Shifts are flexible and casual, with availability required across weekdays and weekends. This is a Live on-site package deal. Only people with experience and willing to live on site to apply please. Key Responsibilities Reception ∙ Guest check-in and check-out using our PMS system ∙ Answering phone and email enquiries ∙ Processing payments and managing reservations ∙ Providing local area information and guest assistance ∙ Handling complaints and escalating when needed Housekeeping ∙ Servicing and turning over guest rooms to hotel standard ∙ Replenishing amenities and linen ∙ Reporting maintenance issues ∙ Maintaining cleanliness of common areas What We’re Looking For ∙ Previous experience in hotel reception, housekeeping, or a combined role ∙ Friendly, professional manner with guests ∙ Physically fit and comfortable on your feet for a full shift ∙ Reliable, punctual, and a team player ∙ Available weekdays and weekends ∙ Valid working rights in Australia (Australian citizen, PR, or valid visa) ∙ Strong spoken English (guest-facing role) What’s on Offer ∙ Casual or Part-time hours ∙ Flexible rostering ∙ Cairns CBD Accommodation ∙ Supportive team environment Please note that this position is living on site and part of the package.
