We are seeking a reliable, motivated, detail driven & precise team player to join our Inventory team.
This is a great role with no weekend work.
Standard hours are 38 per week between 6AM to 4PM each day. Some overtime may be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch:
- Pick sales orders whilst ensuring accurate entry into our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Load couriers daily.
Receiving:
- Unload incoming shipments, check off shipments against purchase orders & quality standards and enter details into WMS
- Put away throughout the site in accordance with put away logic whilst ensuring accurate entry into WMS
Internal Inventory Control:
- Pick and prepare work orders for our production team including delivery to site staging areas and accurate entry into WMS
- Replenish pick faces with high moving items whilst ensuring accurate entry into WMS
- Pick and package kit items for dispatch whilst ensuring accurate entry into WMS
- Replenish site consumable areas
Continuous improvement:
- Assist in implementation of new inventory processes & refinement of existing ones.
Housekeeping:
- Keep the inventory storage areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Skills & Requirements:
- Number 1 – you are prepared to turn up to work each and every day.
- Basic literacy and numeracy, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist though!
- Accurate & detailed – you are driven by accuracy & precision.
- Previous experience in warehousing & inventory control invaluable
- Current driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
- Current forklift licence
- Willing to undertake a National Police Check & pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
