Production Operator - Bundaberg East
$31.19 per hour | Day Shifts | 3-5 Days Per Week | Police Check Required
We're seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our team in Bundaberg East. This is an active, hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys a practical working lifestyle and being part of a supportive production team.
While this is not a full‑time position, the production lines operate approximately 32 weeks per year, with opportunities to work up to 38 hours per week when required. Flexibility is essential, as shift requirements may vary.
About the Role:
As a Production Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products are packed correctly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining quality standards, following procedures, and supporting smooth production flow. You must be comfortable working with alcohol products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spotting: checking products for defects - requires a keen eye for detail
- Carefully packing boxes for shipment
- Ensuring the taping machine is functioning correctly
- Stacking pallets according to the stacking plan for safe transport
- Conducting quality checks to ensure no defects were missed
- Reporting stock or quality issues to the Quality Control Officer or Line Manager
- Housekeeping: keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Flexibility to work varying shift lengths, especially during peak periods
- Team collaboration: communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues
- Ability to work independently when required
- Escalating issues to the Team Leader
Qualifications & Requirements:
- No previous warehouse experience required - full training provided
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and established processes
- This role reports to a Team Leader
- Police Check Required
