Your new role
As the Manager of Risk & Compliance, you will act as a subject-matter expert providing specialist advice across risk, compliance and assurance within a telecommunications function.
You will be responsible for embedding robust governance and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative obligations, including telecommunications requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering expert risk and compliance advisory across telecommunications operations
- Developing and implementing frameworks, registers, and monitoring programs
- Driving alignment with broader enterprise risk and compliance frameworks
- Producing reporting and insights on risk exposure, controls and compliance performance
- Supporting incident management, escalation and remediation planning
- Facilitating risk workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
- Influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders to strengthen risk culture
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Strong experience in risk & compliance, ideally within telecommunications or complex infrastructure environments
- An essential technical understanding of telecommunications
- Demonstrated experience implementing and embedding risk frameworks
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple levels
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capability
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Telecommunications, Engineering or related discipline
Desirable:
- Experience within government or large-scale infrastructure environments
- Exposure to project delivery or process improvement frameworks
