Reporting to
Directly reporting to the Technical Director. This role will have a strong interface with the Bid Management Team and the Engineering Manager.
Position Responsibilities
Support sales strategy and bid writing teams in winning new work
Support and develop strategies to build and maintain Keolis’s image and reputation with its clients, stakeholders and broader industry.
Manage Alstom partnership agreement and investigate any new products and services that would support and enhance Keolis’s brand loyalty / customer service.
Complete upstream and downstream reporting of sales and commercial bid tendering and partnership performance for relevant projects or work;
Ensure deadlines and commercial objectives related to project deliverables and partnership initiatives are communicated and stakeholders are held accountable;
During tender submissions and Alstom review meetings, ensure a focus on key objectives and representing Keolis effectively.
For all project work, identify, analyse, and validate strategic policies, plans, processes, and procedures to ensure efficiency and value for money are realised.
Other ad hoc duties to support the business with its sales growth, customer service and supply chain strategy and objectives.
Competencies Required:
Experience of bid writing / bid management / sales tender processes
Ability to review client and subcontractor contracts both at tender and execution stage
Experience of financial reporting and cost modelling
Understanding of governance processes and ability to navigate multiple stakeholder requirements expeditiously and effectively, while meeting their respective needs;
Extensive hands-on experience on design and construction projects on the contractor side and/or client side;
Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills. Ability to comprehend the detail (on which others will work) but capable of staying focused on key commercial issues and shareholders’ interests;
Ability to work in all MS Office suite, including Project;
Work as a Rail Safety Worker Category 2;
Project management experience and general understanding of light rail operating environment.
