Role Overview
We're looking for a reliable, physically fit labourer for exciting commercial and industrial projects in Gold Coast and Brisbane. This role starts immediately, Monday to Friday, and you'll work alongside the owner. You'll get to learn specialized installation skills like chainwire, palisade, and automatic gates. To apply, you need a White Card, a driver's license, and a willingness to learn.
- Assist the owner with various fencing installations, including site preparation, concreting, and general labor duties
- Operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely
- Join team meetings and collaborate with on-site teams to reach project goals
- Keep a clean and organized work area throughout the project
- Work efficiently as part of a small, high-performing crew
- Read site plans and specifications
- Support the installer with timber, colorbond, chainwire, palisade fencing, and gates
- Help set out fence lines and installation
- Concrete posts
- Prepare materials, including cutting and grinding
- Maintain high safety standards across all sites
- Represent Perimeter Pro professionally on-site
- Enjoy good rates of pay on an hourly basis
Experience Required
- Previous experience as a laborer or in a similar construction support role, ideally in fencing or construction
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks for long periods
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, plus a willingness to learn new skills
- Great attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have a White Card
- Strong understanding of site safety and construction processes
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
