Working closely with key stakeholders, this role requires a welcoming and polished level of customer service, and a "hands on" background and understanding of corporate hospitality services.
In a corporate office environment, you will lead the hospitality team including food and beverage / catering, reception services and concierge, ensuring the operation is run in accordance to the requirements of our contracted services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth and seamless operational aspects of catering and meeting room booking processes, kitchen operations, front of house service and reception services
- Ensure the smooth and seamless operation of in-house meetings / events and spaces through liaison with internal and external stakeholders, (including audio visual (AV) and catering requirements)
- Proactively work towards exceeding the client’s expectations through management of team and personal standards
- In collaboration with the national hospitality and kitchen teams, provide innovative contributions for service standards and menu development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify and report hazards and ensure appropriate measures are undertaken to eliminate or minimise the risk of incidents occurring in the future Ensuring the client set KPI’s are met or exceeded
- Provide hands on leadership and coaching to a diverse team
- Responsible for labour, stock control and budgets
The Person
- Strong and effective leadership skills; the ability to support, motivate, effectively manage and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Previous experience in a high volume, corporate or large-scale environment preferred
- Strong budgeting, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make decisions and adapt to an evolving environment
- Must hold a valid police check
