Join a well-regarded civil contractor delivering FIFO projects with a strong presence across mine, dam, and quarry environments. With ongoing work on Groote Eylandt, this company offers consistent opportunities for experienced all-round operators who are looking for long-term FIFO employment.

Your new role

FIFO role based on Groote Eylandt (flights from Darwin or Cairns)
Working 18 days on / 10 days off roster
Operating across a wide range of machinery, including dozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, graders, and rollers
Truck work including side tipping and occasional float work
Duties will include:
- Final trim
- Bulk earthworks and bulk loading
- Scrub clearing
- Trenching and backfilling
- Batters, drains, and ramp construction
Working as part of a skilled crew delivering crushing and screening operations and broader civil works
Accommodation and meals provided in a resort-style camp
Pay negotiable depending on experience, licences, and tickets

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an all-round operator in civil or mining environments
Tickets and experience across multiple machines (dozer, excavator, loader, grader, roller etc.)
Ideally have a HC licence, with MC highly desirable
Previous experience in crushing and screening is highly regarded
Ability to pass a mine site medical and drug & alcohol testing
South32 induction (Dams & Quarries) highly advantageous
Strong reliability and ability to perform in a FIFO environment
