St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hockey Coach to lead our Open Hockey team. This is a casual position, ideal for a coach who is passionate about developing senior school athletes and fostering a positive, team-focused environment.

The Role
As the Open Hockey Coach, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured training sessions
- Coach and manage the team during QGSSSA fixtures
- Develop players’ technical skills, game awareness and teamwork
- Foster a supportive, inclusive and high-performance team culture
- Liaise with the Hockey Coordinator regarding schedules, attendance and performance
About You
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience coaching hockey, preferably at a senior or representative level
- Strong knowledge of hockey techniques, strategies and game play
- The ability to motivate and support student athletes of varying abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to student wellbeing and positive sporting experiences
Requirements
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or eligibility to obtain
- Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable)
- Availability for scheduled training sessions and weekend fixtures during the season
