Objective of the Role:
- Organise and facilitate player selection trials with Head Coach, including but not limited to court bookings, umpires and equipment
- Organise and facilitate all things required for tournaments, training sessions and programs and organise the WNA Rep Squad teams and staff, including but not limited to coaches, umpires, tournament registrations, etc.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Administration
- Contribute to trials and the team selection process
- Plan player induction program
- Contribute to planning the Rep season program: training, competitions, tournaments, fun activities etc.
- Draft training and tournament schedule
- Make all necessary bookings and registrations for all training sessions and tournaments
- Provide a report for the WNA Board on the progress of the program and any issues, prior to each WNA Board meeting during the Rep season and as otherwise requested
- Ensure that accurate records are kept, including training sessions, match play, injuries and reviews, training attendance, wellbeing etc.
- Liaise with Head Coach and Rep Squad Sub-Committee regarding social media, communications and administration
- Actively engage with coaches, parents and families acting as the primary point of contact regarding player participation
- Conduct program review with Head Coach and team coaches at the end of Association Championships
- Support the non-playing administration requirements of the Rep program
- Other duties as required, including preparation for 2028 Rep squad program
