We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join a well established manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail oriented professional who is passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and process optimisation.
About the role
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring products and processes meet strict quality standards. You will support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems while driving improvements across operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate quality reports
- Ensure products comply with internal quality standards and procedures
- Support production teams with problem solving and root cause analysis
- Perform process audits and identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor and report on quality issues, including scrap reduction
- Assist with continuous improvement activities and system updates
- Support ISO compliance and quality system requirements
- Collate and analyse test data to support reporting and decisions
- Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and fully operational
About you
- Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and tools
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- High attention to detail and strong problem solving ability
- Organised, methodical, and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
