About the Opportunity
The hiring company is a well-established, privately-owned custom home builder based in the Latrobe Valley, known for a genuinely collaborative culture and staff who stay for years, not months. With strong inbound demand and an active display home drawing consistent traffic, they're looking for an experienced sales professional to convert that interest into contracts, and to build the proactive, outbound side of the business to be a significant contributor of leads and opportunities.
The Role
Full-time, permanent. Reporting to the General Manager
Convert warm, inbound leads through considered 3–6 month design-to-contract sales journeys, for clients investing $700K–$1M+
Get out into the community– developers, real estate agents, local networks, and build a genuine pipeline of your own, not just work what comes in
Own your pipeline properly through the company CRM
Capture and follow up every display home visitor
Support and mentor a junior team member
Weekend work required (minimum one day per week), with a day off in lieu during the week
About You
A genuine, verifiable sales track record, ideally 5+ years, built on trust and follow-through, not fast closes
Comfortable selling a high-value, emotional, considered purchase (property, prestige vehicles, luxury goods, financial services, or similar) in a B2C environment
A natural relationship-builder and self-starter who generates their own leads
Enough maturity and credibility to sit across the table from buyers making a $700K+ decision
Based within commuting distance of Traralgon, or genuinely motivated to relocate to the Latrobe Valley (Warragul and Sale also fine)
No building or construction background required. What is important is your sales instinct, drive and sense of urgency
