Normanton Food Works is currently recruiting to fill Store Assistant positions in the store. The ideal candidates will be familiar with retail and/or warehousing operations, are keen to learn about Australian indigenous culture, and are looking to experience life in regional/remote Australia. Normanton Foodworks (NFW) is a newly established retail complex located on the main street of Normanton in QLD's pristine Gulf country. Normanton is located 700 km west of Cairns and is accessible by sealed roads or plane. Duties may include: General customer service, including serving customers at the registers. General cleaning & housekeeping duties as required. Restocking shelves and display areas, including fridges and freezers. Kitchen hand and food preparation duties, What’s on offer: Casual Award rates of pay including weekend penalty rates. Regular hours up to 38 hours per week. Relocation costs from Cairns to Normanton.
