Employment Details Immediate Start Available Minimum 6-Month Commitment Required Casual Role – HIGA Level 2 Pay Rates Monday to Friday: 33.85 per hour Saturday: 40.62 per hour Sunday: 47.39 per hour Accommodation & Meals Accommodation: 78 per week Own room with shared bathroom (donga-style accommodation) Evening meal provided daily Staff kitchen available onsite The Role This is a varied hospitality position requiring team members who can confidently move between bar, restaurant, and gaming operations while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Split shifts are required. Duties & Responsibilities Serving beverages in a busy public bar Processing gaming transactions and payouts Cash handling and EFTPOS transactions Restocking fridges and bar supplies Maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar and service areas Taking restaurant orders and providing table service Clearing and resetting tables Preparing coffees for breakfast and dinner service Assisting in other departments when required Carrying out additional duties as directed by management Skills & Experience Required Previous bar and/or restaurant experience is essential Current Queensland RSA and RSG certificates required prior to commencement Previous gaming experience highly regarded but not essential Strong cash-handling skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Positive attitude and willingness to assist across multiple departments Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative Professional presentation and reliable work ethic The Venue The property features: Busy public bar Popular restaurant Gaming facilities Detached bottleshop You’ll be joining an experienced management team including a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Front Office Manager, and Day and Night Duty Managers, all supported by a friendly onsite workforce.
