We are looking for two friendly, responsible and hard working individuals or a couple for a minimum 6-month employment opportunity to join our team at two motels in Merimbula, NSW. Free accommodation in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom on site apartment is provide as part of the employment package. Merimbula is a beautiful town in southern NSW. Our stunning beaches, welcoming community and laidback coastal vibes make it the perfect spot to experience an Aussie coastal summer with incredible nature on your doorstep. Work is available from 29 September 2026 to end April 2027. Work Description: • Most of the work (>70%) will be housekeeping, which involves cleaning rooms to a high standard, laundry duties and other guest services. • Front of house / motel reception shifts will be available, where you will greet guests, take reservations, manage the booking system and make sure our guests are feel welcome and happy. • Grounds keeping shifts will also be available, where tasks will include gardening, mowing, tidying grounds and pool maintenance. • A minimum of 25 hours per week per person is available, increasing to 30+ during busier periods. • Free accommodation will be provided in your own residence at one of the motels (with ocean views!), for which being on-call for after house assistance will be required (as rostered for 5 days a week). Job Notes: • This job is NOT eligible as the regional work required for the 2nd / 3rd 417 or 462 visa extension • The ideal start date would be 29 September • You will be expected to work weekends, school and public holidays • Remuneration for the role is the Hospitality Industry Award: Guest Services Level 2: Mon-Fri 33.85 per hour; Sat 40.62 per hour; Sun 47.39 per hour; public holidays 67.70 per hour. Your Experience: Previous work experience in hospitality and/or customer-facing roles is preferred, but not essential, as all training will be provided. You will be responsible and respectful, able to work independently when needed, take pride in your work and have a positive attitude.
