Front Office & Operations Supervisor – Live On-Site Lake Central Cairns | Cairns, QLD Full-Time | Long-Term Position | Live On-Site | Minimum 12-Month Commitment Lake Central Cairns is looking for an energetic, reliable and hands-on Front Office & Operations Supervisor to join our team. We are specifically looking for someone wanting a long-term position of at least 12 months, ideally 1–2 years or longer. This is not a short-term role. This is a great opportunity for someone with hotel or hospitality experience who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory/management role. You will work directly with the Hotel Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of Front Office, while also coordinating housekeeping, maintenance and general hotel operations. ABOUT THE ROLE Your responsibilities will include: • Running the day-to-day Front Office • Reservations, check-ins and check-outs • Guest enquiries and customer service • Handling and resolving guest issues • Coordinating daily housekeeping • Organising room priorities and checking room presentation • Supporting and supervising housekeeping staff • Identifying and following up maintenance issues • Coordinating maintenance and trades when required • Helping ensure the hotel runs smoothly each day • Assisting with social media and marketing • Bringing new ideas to improve the hotel and guest experience • Supporting the Hotel Manager with daily operations THIS IS A HANDS-ON POSITION We are a smaller hotel, so we need someone who is willing to get involved. There will be times when you may need to help housekeeping, check rooms, assist with gardens, follow up maintenance or simply help wherever needed. We are looking for someone who sees what needs doing and gets it done. We are happy to train and develop the right person. Most importantly, you will be: • Reliable and responsible • Friendly and confident with guests • Energetic and hands-on • Well organised • A good problem solver • Able to work independently • Comfortable coordinating other staff • Willing to take responsibility • Someone with initiative and new ideas • Interested in developing a career in hotel management • Strong customer service skills are essential 🏠 LIVE-ON-SITE POSITION Living on-site is an important requirement of the position.
