We're seeking passionate and experienced Chefs who are committed to exceptional Italian cuisine, thrives in a fast-paced luxury dining environment, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape one of Sydney's most anticipated restaurant openings. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in leading the kitchen team, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience from day one.
Key Requirements
- Previous similar experience in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel, members' club or fine dining venue, with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine experience highly regarded.
- Experience supporting pre-opening restaurants or opening new venues, with the ability to establish kitchen operations, systems and service standards from the ground up.
- Passion for authentic Italian cuisine, seasonal produce and refined presentation, with a commitment to consistency, quality and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements, ensuring compliance while maintaining the highest operational standards.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume, luxury dining environment while remaining calm, organised and solutions-focused during service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with the Head Chef, kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, with a genuine passion for hospitality and continuous professional development.
