We are looking for an energetic, reliable Roadhouse All-Rounder to join our tight-knit team at the iconic Pink Roadhouse in Oodnadatta for an immediate start.This is a short-term placement for at least three months, making it a perfect opportunity for travellers looking to experience the true Aussie outback while locking in their visa sign-off. Your time will be split between smashin' out classic outback feeds on the grill and giving our customers the friendly service we are famous for. Your Main Responsibilities:Short-Order Cooking: Working the grill and fryers to cook up hearty breakfasts, classic roadhouse meals, burgers, hot box favorites, and daily specials. Customer Service: Greeting tourists and community members with a smile, operating the point-of-sale console, and processing fuel payments. Barista & Food Prep: Making quality coffees, preparing fresh sandwiches, and keeping food displays well-stocked. General Roadhouse Maintenance: Keeping the shop floor, kitchen, and dining area clean, tidy, and well-stocked. What We Are Looking For:Cooking Experience: Proven experience in a short-order kitchen, fast-food, or a similar high-volume grill/fryer environment. You must be comfortable working independently on the line. The Right Attitude: A hard-working team player with fluent English and a welcoming, chatty personality.
