Sandbar Yamba is looking for a Chef / Cook to join our team in Yamba, a surf town on the NSW coast where you’re never more than a few minutes from the ocean. We’re talking five beaches within a 5-minute walk, morning swims, surf after work, fresh seafood and sunny days ☀️🏄 🍴 THE ROLE As part of our kitchen team, you’ll: • Prepare and plate fresh, quality dishes • Run your section with consistency and attention to detail • Work alongside a small, experienced and supportive team • Keep your cool when service gets busy 🔥 • Have full-time hours available • Have the opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility if that’s what you’re looking for We’re ideally looking for someone who can commit for at least 6 months, and we’re very happy to hear from people looking for something longer term. 🏡 Staff accommodation is available, so relocating to Yamba doesn’t have to be a logistical nightmare. ✨ ABOUT YOU We’d love you to be: ✅ Passionate about good food, great produce and presentation ✅ Organised, reliable and calm under pressure ✅ A strong team player with good communication skills ✅ Positive, hands-on and happy to be part of a small team ✅ Experienced in a professional kitchen OR genuinely keen to learn Don’t be afraid to reach out if you don’t tick every experience box. However, sponsorship is a significant commitment for both you and us, and it is not something we offer from day one.
