Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Parking Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing local parking regulations, monitoring parking compliance, issuing infringement notices, and providing professional assistance to members of the public.
You will patrol designated areas on foot and by vehicle
Investigate parking-related complaints
Respond to customer enquiries
Assist with traffic and parking management during events or emergencies.
Your ability to apply legislation fairly, communicate effectively with the public, and remain professional in challenging situations will be key to your success
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Parking Officer, Ranger, Compliance Officer, or within a similar regulatory enforcement role
- Sound knowledge of parking legislation, local laws, and infringement processes
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a public-facing environment
- Experience using handheld infringement devices or parking enforcement systems (desirable)
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
