Quality Family Care Clinic is seeking full-time General Practitioners to join our established and accredited GP training practice in Gympie, Queensland 4570. We encourage both VR and suitably qualified non-VR General Practitioners to apply.
The practice has an established patient base and provides both bulk-billed and privately billed services. The successful applicant will work alongside experienced VR General Practitioners, supported by a full-time Practice Manager, Registered Nurse and administration team. The practice is fully computerised, has multiple treatment rooms and offers online bookings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations, health assessments, diagnosis and treatment.
Order and review diagnostic tests and communicate results to patients.
Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when required.
Maintain accurate patient health records.
Collaborate with doctors and practice staff to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain professional knowledge through continuing medical education and professional development.
Provide respectful, patient-centred care.
Position Details
Full-time position
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
No weekend work
60% of billings (estimated annual earnings of 100,000–180,000, depending on experience, registration status, billings and services provided)
Additional remuneration for after-hours services
Skills and Experience
Recognised medical qualification
AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration, as a medical practitioner
Minimum 1 year’s relevant medical experience, including general practice or a related clinical setting
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary general practice team
