We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our small team at The Nest on Brodie in Hughenden, North West Queensland. We’re a busy café serving great coffee, breakfast, light meals, desserts and weekend trade, and we’re looking for someone who is happy to jump in wherever needed. About the role Approx. 30–35 hours per week Mix of weekday and weekend shifts Rotating Saturday and Sunday work Some Thursday evening work Immediate start available Ideally looking for someone who can stay for at least 4–6 months What we need Previous espresso/barista experience Confident making good coffee independently Friendly and confident with customers Reliable and able to turn up for rostered shifts Happy to help with food running, cleaning, stocking and general café duties Able to work well as part of a small team You don’t need to be a career barista, but you do need to have genuine café coffee experience. We can train you to our coffee standard. Hughenden suits travellers who are keen to experience regional Queensland. If you are travelling with a camper or caravan, there is a local caravan park where you can arrange your own site. Accommodation is not provided. Working Holiday travellers are very welcome to apply.
