Lake St Clair Lodge – Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania Lake St Clair Lodge is a boutique wilderness lodge located in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area on Australia's deepest lake. We operate a 42-cabin lodge, restaurant, café, bar, ferry service and tourist park within Lake St Clair National Park. We are seeking reliable, motivated team members who are interested in living and working in a unique wilderness environment and contributing to a professional hospitality operation. Important: Commitment Required This role suits applicants who are looking for a meaningful hospitality experience and who can commit to a minimum stay of 3–6 months. This role is not suitable for short-term travellers looking for only a few weeks of work. Applicants who are genuinely interested in contributing to a high-quality guest experience in a national park setting are encouraged to apply. Please note that this role is not offered for the purpose of completing 88-day visa requirements. We prioritise applicants who are interested in a longer-term hospitality role and who can commit to the position for the duration of the season. The Role This is a hands-on role supporting several areas of lodge operations, including: - Preparing and servicing guest accommodation to lodge standards - Maintaining shared areas and facilities - Food and beverage service in our café and restaurant - Assisting with guest services and general lodge operations - Supporting presentation of the lodge and surrounding grounds This is an active role and team members are on their feet for much of the day. What We Are Looking For Successful applicants typically demonstrate: - Strong work ethic and reliability - Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards - A positive and professional attitude with guests and colleagues - Interest in hospitality, tourism or outdoor environments - Ability to work as part of a small team in a remote location Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience is valued but attitude and reliability are most important.
