Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications.
Plan menus and develop new dishes.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage food preparation and kitchen operations efficiently.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Control stock levels, ordering, and inventory management.
Minimise food wastage and manage kitchen costs.
Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff.
Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements.

Requirements

Relevant chef qualification and/or industry experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

Employment Details

Position: Full-Time Chef
Annual Salary: $80,000
Location: Kermandie Hotel, Port Huon
