An established and well-respected organisation in Northern Tasmania is seeking an experienced Human Resources and Office Administration professional to join their team. This organisation prides itself on supporting its people and providing a collaborative and values driven workplace. Due to internal requirements, a newly created opportunity now exists for an HR & Office Administrator to support both the HR function and front of house administration.
Your new role
In this full-time position, you will deliver a broad range of HR administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, work health and safety processes, employee documentation and the maintenance of accurate records within relevant systems. You will also play an important role in ensuring HR data integrity and supporting compliance obligations. Alongside your HR responsibilities, you will provide reception support one day per week and assist during periods of staff leave at the senior campus, where a strong focus on customer service, clear communication and professionalism is essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring a Certificate IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative position with exposure to HR processes. Experience within an educational environment will be highly regarded. You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer literacy and confidence working with databases and digital record-keeping systems. Your high level of organisation, ability to prioritise and exceptional attention to detail will be essential to your success.

- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration
- Current National Police Check
- First Aid in Education and Care Setting Certificate
