We’re looking for a great coach to join the team at Big 5 Fitness.
This isn’t your typical gym floor role.
We run structured, coach-led group training with a strong focus on strength, movement quality, and long-term results.
You’ll be coaching across both of our programs:
LIFT - Small group strength training (max 12 per class)
MOVE - High-energy group sessions combining strength and conditioning
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Coaching group sessions across LIFT and MOVE
- Delivering structured, well-planned sessions (no “winging it”)
- Helping members with technique, progression, and confidence
- Building strong relationships with members
- Creating a positive, welcoming training environment
- Supporting members of all fitness levels (especially beginners and 35–55 demographic)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Someone who actually coaches, not just counts reps
- Strong understanding of strength training fundamentals
- Confident correcting technique and giving clear cues
- High energy, but not over the top or gimmicky
- Reliable, professional, and takes pride in their work
- Experience in group training preferred (but not essential)
