Our small dairy farm at Simpson in South West Victoria will have a role available in early November. The role is for 1 person who has some farming experience and excellent English.
The role- milking up to 290 cows through a 50 stand rotary dairy, calf rearing, stock work, tractor driving, feeding cows, other general farm duties.
What we need- someone trustworthy and sensible, with good English, some farm experience, a licence, and able to start in early Nov.
What’s in it for you- casual rates starting at $29.33/hr plus super, a regular rostered working week, pleasant workplace, accomodation and car available by negotiation. Our farm is located on the outskirts of a small town (Simpson) with the pub and a couple of shops in easy walking distance, and the beautiful great ocean road and Otways on our doorstep.
Please don’t apply if you aren’t in Australia with work rights. We require you have farming experience; even just a few months, tractor experience preferable, milking experience highly regarded.
Hours can be flexible to work around study for those on a student VISA, but must be available for weekend work.
