An opportunity is available for an experienced and performance-driven Physiotherapist to work within the Western Clydesdales Rugby League BMD Squad.

This role is based within a high-performance training and competitive environment, where you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of athletes within the BMD squad. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Performance and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach to deliver best-practice injury management, load management and return-to-play strategies that support athlete availability and performance.

Hours & Commitment

6 hours per week, delivered across two 3-hour treatment blocks
Monday & Wednesday evenings, 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Game Day & Competition Support (Optional)

In-season game involvement is optional
Opportunities include:
- Pre-game preparation and strapping
- On-field injury assessment and management during home and away fixtures
- Exposure to elite match-day medical and performance operations

Employment Structure

Flexible engagement options available:
- Contract
- Casual
- Full-time (with an integrated in-clinic caseload to complete remaining full-time hours)

Required Qualifications & Professional Standards

Current AHPRA registration
Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Driver’s licence and access to reliable transport
