Your new role
As the Senior Field Service Technician, you’ll be the go‑to technical lead on site, responsible for keeping operations running smoothly while leading and supporting a team of Field Service Technicians. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll still be on the tools, troubleshooting and fixing issues, but you’ll also be setting the standard for workmanship, safety and performance across the team. \
You’ll coordinate day‑to‑day activities, support junior technicians, and work closely with site and operations managers to make sure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll play a key role in equipment installs, commissioning, fault resolution and ongoing maintenance, while mentoring the team, prioritising jobs, and being the escalation point for more complex issues.
What you'll need to succeed
- A grade electrician license
- Minimum 3+ years experience post apprenticeship across the residential, commercial or industrial sectors.
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude with practical problem-solving skills
- Solid communication, teamwork and the ability to work independently
- Electrical knowledge is beneficial
- Unrestricted driving licence
- Familiarity with data centre environments is a plus.
