About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to support our busy warehouse and packaging operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and preparation of products for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring all products are handled with care
- Move pallets of packaged goods between storage, production, and dispatch areas
- Stack and organise stock in designated locations in line with inventory procedures
- Assist with stock control, including inventory counts and cycle counts
- Pick and pack orders using RF scanning systems
- Report any equipment or operational issues to the Line Leader promptly
You will report directly to the Line Leader and work within a small, supportive team environment.
About You
- Previous experience as a forklift operator
- Current and valid forklift licence
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Capable of repetitive tasks and safe machinery operation
