About the role
Manpower is partnering with an established Queensland construction and development group to appoint experienced site leadership professionals for Brisbane based projects.
We are seeking expressions of interest from both General Foremen and Finishing Foremen for stable contract opportunities, initially for 3-6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension.
These roles will suit construction professionals who enjoy being close to live project delivery, coordinating trades, driving programme, maintaining quality and working closely with Site Managers, project teams and subcontractors.
The project environment suit those with experience across commercial construction, mixed-use developments, multi-unit residential, retail, internal finishes, structures, external finishes or handover stages.

What you will be doing
Depending on your experience, you may support the project team across general site coordination, structures, external works, internal finishes or handover activity.
Responsibilities may include:
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
- Supporting daily site planning and programme delivery
- Working closely with the Site Manager and project team
- Managing trade sequencing and short-term lookaheads
- Monitoring safety, quality and site standards
- Coordinating materials, access and site logistics
- Reviewing drawings, details and construction documentation
- Identifying programme, quality or coordination issues early
- Supporting defect management, finishes quality and close-out
- Driving productivity while maintaining safe work practices
- Communicating clearly with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Helping ensure work is delivered to programme, specification and quality expectations
What you will bring
You do not need to tick every box, but these roles may suit someone with:
- Experience as a General Foreman, Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor or Leading Hand
- Experience working with a commercial builder, principal contractor or similar construction environment
- Strong trade coordination and site leadership skills
- Exposure to commercial, mixed-use, multi-unit residential, retail or refurbishment projects
- Ability to read drawings and coordinate work against programme
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and site sequencing
- Good communication with subcontractors, site teams and project managers
- Practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and organised under programme pressure
The person we are looking for
You will suit this role if you are hands-on, practical and reliable, with strong site awareness and the ability to bring trades with you.
You may be a General Foreman who can coordinate broad site activity across structures, external works and finishes.
You may be a Finishing Foreman who is strong across internal trades, quality control, defects, sequencing and handover.
You may also be an experienced Site Supervisor or Leading Hand ready for a contract role with more responsibility.
