The Oriana is a new, multi-level hospitality destination located within the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay - one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront locations. Designed as a modern, produce-driven venue, it brings together high-volume energy with a premium food offering, underpinned by fine dining experience and attention to detail across multiple spaces.
From The Oriana Restaurant to The Oriana Beer Garden and Bar & Casual Dining, this is a fast-paced, large-scale operation - and we’re on the hunt for chefs who can deliver quality at volume, with a fine dining mindset.
The Roles
We’re hiring across the kitchen:
Chef de Parties – take ownership of your section and drive service standards, bringing fine dining experience and precision to a high-volume environment
Demi Chefs – develop your skills in a structured, high-performing team, gaining exposure to refined techniques and fine dining experience
Kitchen Porters – keep the engine room running and support the kitchen through service
You’ll be working across hot and cold sections, delivering consistent, high-quality dishes in a busy service environment where fine dining experience is valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing and executing dishes to a high standard
Working across high-volume lunch and dinner service plus functions and events
Maintaining a clean, organised section
Supporting the team during peak periods
Following food safety and kitchen standards
Contributing to a positive, high-performing kitchen culture with a focus on detail and fine dining experience
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen, with fine dining experience highly regarded
Ability to handle high-volume service without compromising quality
Strong work ethic, reliability and team focus
Good organisation and communication skills
Passion for food and hospitality, with an appreciation for fine dining standards
