Belt Picker
Location: Hexham, NSW
Pay Rate: $39.83
Our client operates within the recycling industry, playing a key role in sustainable waste management. currently seeking reliable and detail oriented Belt Pickers to join their team.
This is a production line / conveyor based role where your main responsibility is ensuring materials are sorted correctly, products meet quality and recycling standards, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring conveyor belts and removing incorrect or contaminated items
- Sorting materials to meet recycling and production standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
- Reporting equipment faults or material issues
- Following strict safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Supporting general site operations as needed
Skills & Experience
- Current Forklift Licence (Required)
- Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing, OR labouring roles
- Strong attention to detail and quick reactions
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive, fast paced work
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, or outdoor environments
