Looking for an adventure in the Australian Outback? The iconic Pink Roadhouse in Oodnadatta is seeking a reliable and practical Maintenance / Handyman to join our team from mid-late July, with a commitment of at least three months. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has a trade background or is simply very handy, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. Living in a remote location means you need to be resourceful and able to solve problems without a hardware store around the corner! Duties may include: General maintenance and repairs Tyre changing and tyre repairs/patching Looking after yards and grounds Swimming pool maintenance Shed organisation and upkeep Can and bottle recycling Tip runs and rubbish management Assisting with various day-to-day property maintenance tasks What we're looking for: Trade qualification preferred but not essential Practical handyman skills and mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently and use initiative Positive attitude and strong work ethic Driver's licence essential Someone who enjoys remote living and meeting new people What we offer: Generous wage package Accommodation provided Groceries provided Unique Outback lifestyle experience Opportunity to meet travellers from around Australia and the world Friendly local community and supportive team environment This is a fantastic opportunity to experience one of Australia's most iconic remote destinations while earning good money and enjoying a true Outback adventure.
