Kurrawa SLSC is seeking a passionate and motivated Youth Development Coach to support the growth and development of our youth athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver structured coaching sessions to a high standard as directed by the Head Coach.
- Assist athletes in developing surf sports skills, fitness, confidence and competition readiness.
- Conduct strength and conditioning sessions within the Club gym environment when required.
- Support athlete participation and follow up with members regarding carnival entries and attendance.
- Assist the Head Coach with planning and delivering sessions across all groups when required.
Requirements
- Coaching certificate.
- Strong understanding of Surf Lifesaving operations
- Bronze Medallion (current or previous)
- Experience in a similar role
- Current Financial Member of Kurrawa SLSC (or willingness to join upon appointment)
- Current Working with Children Blue Card
- Experience with Surf Life Saving systems (Surf guard, Member Portal, Limsoc, aXcelerate, LiveHeats), or ability to quickly acquire
- Driver’s license
