Small family-owned business located in Tallygaroopna in the beautiful Goulburn Valley, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne. This job is eligible for 2nd and 3rd WHV extension – work is indoors and sheltered from the weather – we work 5 days a week guaranteed! We are looking for a hardworking and reliable all-rounder with a 'can do' attitude to join our team in our hydroponic glasshouse – 2 positions available starting now. You must be physically fit (the work involves lifting floats out of the hydroponic ponds and all-day walking and standing), punctual and reliable with excellent time management skills and eye for detail. Good, basic English a must. This is a fast-paced environment working in a small team. Once you are worked in on the job, we expect you to work independent with minimal supervision as well as being an excellent team player. Applicants must currently be in Australia and have working rights. Job description - Grading and packing fresh produce, basil and lettuce (you must be fast with your hands - target packing rate applies) - Planting seedlings - Cleaning and preparing seedling trays - Folding boxes and other farm duties This is an hourly paid job, 35-40 hours a week Monday to Friday 7.00 - 15.30 at 32.18 casual rate plus 12% superannuation (occasional Saturday in summer) Year-round work available.
