Coppersmith Hotel is looking for an experienced Senior Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team.
We're a gastro pub and boutique hotel hospitality venue in South Melbourne, known for quality food, great service, and a welcoming local atmosphere. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading a team, running a smooth service, and delivering consistently great food.
What you'll be doing:

Leading kitchen service and daily operations

Food preparation, cooking, and plating

Managing prep, stock control, and ordering

Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Training and supporting junior team members

Contributing to menu development and specials
What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Senior Cook, Chef, or similar role

Strong all-round cooking skills across lunch and dinner service

Knowledge of food safety and HACCP requirements

Ability to lead a team in a busy kitchen environment
