What you'll be doing

• Oversee the overall management of the kitchen, including menu planning, budgeting and inventory control.

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the kitchen to ensure efficient workflow and high productivity.

• Recruit, train and mentor chefs, commis chefs and kitchen assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Develop and refine menus and recipes, incorporating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.

• Manage food costs, stock ordering and supplier relationships.

• Work closely with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service and an exceptional customer experience.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or in a similar senior leadership role within a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Formal culinary training or a relevant qualification in Hospitality or Culinary Arts.

• Exceptional culinary skills and a deep understanding of a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a diverse kitchen team.

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

• Passion for using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients to create exceptional dining experiences.

• Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
