About Adina Lodge Adina Lodge is a welcoming accommodation property in Bright, comprising 7 x 2BR units and 3 x 1BR units, along with landscaped gardens, a swimming pool, BBQ area, playground and outdoor facilities. Our guests include families, couples, cyclists, skiers, bushwalkers and groups who come to Bright to relax, explore and enjoy everything the High Country has to offer. We are looking for a reliable, friendly and practical Site Manager—or management couple—to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, presentation and guest experience of the lodge. About the Role Living on-site, you will be the main point of contact for guests and help ensure the property operates smoothly, safely and efficiently. This is a varied and hands-on role covering guest service, bookings, housekeeping coordination, property presentation, grounds upkeep, minor maintenance and general problem-solving. You will work closely with the owners, cleaners, contractors and service providers, while having the autonomy to manage the daily priorities of the lodge. The role requires flexibility during weekends, public holidays, school holidays and peak tourism periods. Occasional after-hours guest or operational support will also be required. What You’ll Be Doing • Managing the day-to-day operations of Adina Lodge • Welcoming guests and providing friendly, responsive service • Managing guest enquiries, arrivals, departures and issues during their stay • Assisting with bookings and guest communication by phone and email • Coordinating cleaners, room readiness, linen, consumables and supplies • Maintaining high standards across accommodation, common areas and outdoor facilities • Overseeing the gardens, pool surrounds, BBQ area, playground and grounds • Completing minor maintenance and practical repairs where appropriate • Coordinating trades and contractors when required • Monitoring safety risks and keeping guest areas safe and well maintained • Maintaining basic operational, maintenance and incident records • Supporting local promotions, events and opportunities that may increase bookings • Keeping the owners informed about guest feedback, maintenance and property priorities About You This opportunity could suit an individual or couple with experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism, motels, caravan parks, property management, housekeeping, maintenance or customer service. You will ideally have: • A friendly and welcoming approach to guests • Strong practical, maintenance or troubleshooting skills • An excellent eye for cleanliness, presentation and detail • The ability to work independently and take ownership of the property • Good organisation and communication skills • A calm, practical and solutions-focused attitude • Confidence working with guests, owners, cleaners and contractors • A willingness to be hands-on and help wherever needed • A current Driver’s Licence • Flexibility to work during weekends, public holidays and peak tourism periods Most importantly, you will take pride in your work and care for the property as though it were your own.
