We are looking for a reliable and experienced Hotel All-Rounder to join our team in Harrietville, with a primary focus on housekeeping and reception duties. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming accommodation and enjoys assisting guests throughout their stay. THE ROLE INCLUDES: • Cleaning and preparing guest rooms; • Maintaining high housekeeping standards; • Assisting guests with check-in and check-out; • Managing bookings, payments and guest enquiries (when required); • Answering phone calls and responding to messages (when required); and • Supporting general hotel operations when required. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: • Previous housekeeping, accommodation or reception experience; • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills; • Good English skills to deal with guests by phone call, email, and chat in person; • Friendly and professional communication; • Reliability and the ability to work independently; • Flexibility with rostered days and hours is highly regarded; • Previous experience using RMS is a strong advantage; • Your own car is strongly preferred due to very limited public transport in the area; and • A minimum commitment of three months, longer availability, including over summer, is preferred. ABOUT THE LOCATION: Harrietville is a peaceful alpine town surrounded by some of Victoria’s most beautiful mountain scenery. • Approximately 30 km from Mt Hotham; • Approximately 75 km from Falls Creek; and • Bright is the nearest major town, around 20 minutes away by car, with supermarkets, gyms, pharmacies, shops and other services.
