We are looking for a few backpackers to join our friendly and hardworking team. We have turned a family owned takeaway into a community owned takeaway, and we need reliable workers for the Spring / Summer Season. This is an opportunity to do the work you love and have a base from which to explore our region (a great opportunity for travellers in pairs, or a couple) The role includes: Preparing and cooking cafe-style meals Making coffees and serving drinks Serving customers with a friendly smile Food preparation and kitchen duties General cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace We're looking for someone who: Has cafe, kitchen or hospitality experience Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Is reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment Works well both independently and as part of a team Can work weekdays and weekends Bonus points to ALLROUNDERS who are also interested in, or who have a partner that is interested in Social Support Services for Aged Care and NDIS recipients. We also have work in property maintenance and basic improvements. Accommodation available for the right candidates who can embrace the whole experience.
